Launching Polisi RW berlangsung lapangan apel Polres Metro Tangerang kota, Rabu (8/2/2023).
Dijelaskan Kapolres Metro Tangerang Kota Kombes Pol Zain Dwi Nugroho, Program Polisi RW dilakukan untuk mendengar secara langsung, mencatat dan mencari solusi bersama terhadap permasalahan Kamtibmas yang dihadapi Masyarakat di.lingkungan RW tersebut.
“Polisi RW ini bisa mendengarkan langsung keluhan yang dirasakan oleh masyarakat sekaligus mencatat dan mencari solusi yang tepat. Dengan demikian, permasalahan pun akan cepat diselesaikan,” jelasnya.
Masyarakat bisa lebih cepat melapor ketika terjadi permasalahan di lingkungan, Tentunya dengan tetap mengedepankan kerja sama dengan semua pihak (Bhabinkamtibmas, Babinsa, Lurah, ketua RW dan segenap tokoh masyarakat). Keberadaan polisi RW adalah bentuk kepolisian yang modern yang lebih mengedepankan kegiatan pencegahan dan proactive policing.
“Jadi, dengan adanya polisi RW ini, diharapkan juga semakin mempersempit ruang pelaku kejahatan dan mempercepat penyelesaian permasalahan sosial yang terjadi,” ujar Zain.
Untuk mememudahkan pengaduan jika terjadi kerawanan atau permasalahan, Polisi RW membagikan nomor teleponnya, termasuk nomer para Kapolsek dan Kapolres kepada masyarakat saat sambang maupun kegiatan kemasyarakatan.
“Polisi RW maupun Bhabinkamtibmas yang hadir ke tengah-tengah masyarakat bertugas melaksanakan sambang dan door to door di setiap lingkungan RW. Selain itu Polisi RW Juga mensosialisasikan nomor telepon pengaduan kepolisian di Call Center 110 maupun nomor pengaduan Polres di 082211110110, serta memasang sticker yang berisi nomor telepon Polisi RW, Kapolres dan Kapolsek untuk bisa dihubungi bila dibutuhkan.
Kinerja para Polisi RW tersebut terintegrasi dan dilaporkan dalam aplikasi Tangerang Akur, guna memonitor setiap kegiatannya. Tujuannya agar peran Polisi RW lebih dapat dirasakan kehadirannya oleh masyarakat.
“Kegiatan Polisi RW akan terkontrol oleh kita melalui aplikasi Tangerang Akur, termasuk laporan tertulis, berupa buku kunjungan” pungkasnya.
